Ths is a 3-5 page paper. Visit a library of your choice.

  1. Describe the library and the reference area.
  2. Observe the reference librarians and patrons.
  3. Report what you see.
  4. Go up to the desk and ask a question. Try not to identify yourself as a student.
  5. Report on the reference interview experience.

Pathfinder
This is an annotated bibliography of reference sources for a specific subject. You may decide to work in groups for this project You will be using wikispaces or anoher Web 2.0 tool. All subject topics must be okayed so start thinking.
Requirements:
1. Each person must include 12 annotated sources. Make sure you put your initials on each annotation if this pathfinder is a collaborative effort.
2. Each pathfinder must have a home page which explains the pathfinder. When you identify yourself on the home page just use your first name last initial.
3. Do not put all of your annotations on one page. Find a way to categorize the sources.
4. You do not have to paste pictures, graphs, etc. This inclusion makes the site more interesting but does not influence the grade one way or another.
